Then, on the other hand, nosotros have a stiff climbers group with Juanpe gratuitous to race for the General Classification. Later a good Giro, I am looking forward to seeing what he tin can practice, I think he has a practiced risk to do a nice consequence here likewise."

Afterward the Benelux Tour was cancelled, we looked into the possibility of me riding the Vuelta and decided it would be the best option for me for the last part of the season, particularly with the Vuelta having viii stages that fit me quite well.

"I'll give it a get and run into how it works out. For sure, information technology's going to exist hot, and in the past, I struggled a bit with that, just after the Tour we saw that the heat adaptation work that I've done helped a lot, and then I'chiliad not as well worried well-nigh the heat. We experience confident in this determination, and we have a strong, well-rounded Team going to the Vuelta. I think we can exist in the mix of everything: dart days, medium sprint days and climbing days. It should be a good three weeks and I think it will be a good experience to accept ii M Tours in one year. We volition run into how my trunk reacts and perchance it is something we call up virtually for the futurity as well."

For this reason, we are set up for every phase, and I am super happy to be a part of this team. I have big ambitions this yr for the Vuelta. My first objective at the Giro was to win one phase and I just missed that, so I want to try and attain that here, for sure. I also desire to do a good GC simply that volition exist something that we will have twenty-four hours past twenty-four hour period. I didn't take the best of luck after the Giro every bit I caught Covid and I wasn't at 100% in Burgos but I practise believe that I volition arrive in the Netherlands in good shape and ready to put in a good performance."
